Hi, Im John Chandler.

I’m an Account Executive and DJ at First Media Radio. I'm married to a lovely woman named Janice who is my biggest inspiration. I have a daughter, granddaughter and step son. I started in the music business when I was four years old singing in a family Gospel Music Quartet. Through the years I have played guitar and harmonica and been in many bands playing a variety of music from Gospel to Country, Bluegrass, Blues and more.

I have been an employee at WPTM for over sixteen years. Join me on WPTM 102.3 every Sunday Morning from 6 am until 11am for the best in Southern, Bluegrass and Country Gospel Music. Then stay tuned on Sunday nights from 8pm until 11pm for the Best in Classic Country and Bluegrass Music. My hobbies include music, fishing, football, basketball, fast cars, boxing and watching UFC Sanctioned fights on TV. I was awarded Lifetime Membership to Lakeland Cultural Arts Center Littleton N.C. in 1995. I'm very active in music as an entertainer and do a lot of Emcee work Love my Job! Love my audience!
